Caring Young Lady Delights Residents on Anzac Day

Meet Ella, a very caring young lady with a heart for making a difference in the world, especially in the lives of the elderly.

Pictured above is Ella with her mum Debra dropping off the wonderfully delicious and very thoughtful gifts.

Ella, now aged 13, has been volunteering at Mayflower Brighton for over a year. Ella regularly helps our Lifestyle team host fabulous Happy Hours and is often seen dancing with our residents who aren’t able to leave their chairs, bringing a smile to each of them and warming their hearts.

This wonderful young lady also helps with special occasion decorations, and with craft around the home. We are so grateful for her help, and both staff and residents look forward to her visits during the week.

Ella wanted to do something special for residents on Anzac Day, so she got busy baking Anzac Biscuits, and brother Archie helped make the artwork for the packaging.
