Mayflower Macleod Development Updates

Redevelopment of the seniors living precinct at Highview Crescent Macleod.

Demolition commenced on 2 June but has been required to pause.

Activity over the past month

• Hazardous materials have been safely dismantled.  
• Tree protection zones were installed and approved.  
• Electrical services were disconnected and made safe.
• Demolition commenced on the upper section of the site and the first two houses were removed.

Demolition has temporarily halted while Telstra and NBN continue to recover their assets. Demolition will resume when Telstra and the NBN Co. are able to complete their asset recovery. We do not have a confirmed timeframe for this step, as we are reliant on those organisations.  

Security patrols of the Mayflower residences continue.
