It’s Fiesta Time!

At Mayflower Reservoir, the vibrant spirit of Mexico recently came to life in a day filled with laughter, music, and authentic flavors. Our residents embarked on a joyful journey south of the border, continuing our beloved ‘tour of the world’ tradition. This time, the destination was Mexico, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement and cultural immersion.

Residents and staff alike donned traditional Mexican attire, with sombreros and brightly colored ponchos adding a festive flair to the day. The celebration was kicked off with live performances of traditional Mexican songs, which filled the air with lively rhythms and melodies. The music inspired an impromptu Mexican hat dance, as our staff, fully embracing the theme, twirled and danced, much to the delight of everyone present.

The culinary experience was a highlight of the fiesta, offering residents a taste of Mexico's rich and flavorful cuisine. A variety of tacos were served, each bursting with fresh, delicious fillings. To complement the meal, a cheeky tequila sunrise was offered, adding an authentic Mexican twist to the afternoon.
