Compassionate Home Carers Needed to Help Clients Live Life Well

Mayflower is looking for energetic and caring in-home carers to join our expanding Home Care team.

Visiting residents within the community who are living in their own homes, you will provide thoughtful care and support that nurtures independence, wellbeing and lifestyle.

If you enjoy engaging with others, making a positive difference in the lives of others and love a chat with some wonderful people along the way, this could be the role for you!

We are seeking casual and permanent Home Care Workers in both the Bayside and northern suburbs of Melbourne.

To be successful you will need to have a Certificate 3 in Home Care or equivalent, Level 2 First Aid, a driver’s licence and registered and roadworthy vehicle.

Use your fun and friendly nature to provide one-on-one compassionate care to our clients, helping them to remain independent by assisting with duties such as:

• Shopping
• Preparing and serving meals
• Household cleaning and gardening
• Attending appointments or activities within the community
• Social support – spend time with our clients and enjoy the interesting stories they have to share
• Personal care such as showering, grooming and dressing (for applicants with a Certificate 3 qualification)
