At Mayflower, fostering a sense of community is at the heart of everything we do.

As an aged care and retirement living not-for-profit organisation, we understand the importance of creating a supportive and welcoming environment where our residents can thrive.

Recently, we held a BBQ where our Mayflower Brighton retirement living community came together to enjoy each other's company and delicious food. Seeing the enthusiasm and joy in the air was heart-warming as everyone shared stories, jokes, and memories. And it served as a reminder of the power of community and camaraderie in retirement living.

The evening of culinary fun and conversation was organised by Independent Living Coordinator Heather, “it was just a lovely time for everyone to be together and a reminder to do it more often.”

We believe that retirement living should be more than just a place to live – it should be a family, a support system, and a way of life. That's why we're committed to providing social activities and shared spaces where our residents can connect and build relationships with each other.

As we are a not-for-profit organisation, our focus is on the well-being of our residents, not numbers. We're here to support our residents, empower them to stay active and engaged, and provide a warm and welcoming environment where they can make new friends and live life their way.

If you or a loved one are looking for a retirement living arrangement that's all about community, we invite you to experience Mayflower Brighton for yourself. Our community is more than just a place to stay – it's a supportive and welcoming environment where you can connect with others and enjoy a fulfilling retirement.
