A Marvellous Mother's Day

There were smiles, flowers and cupcakes galore when residents, team members and visitors celebrated Mother’s Day across Mayflower – in style.

May is the special month where we honour all the wonderful women in our community – for all they have done, and continue to do, for each one of us.

Pictured above: Rosa, resident of Mayflower Reservoir, enjoyed her high tea lunch - prepared by our in-house chef - during her special day.

At Mayflower's aged care homes, we celebrated this important day with a lively afternoon of music, gifts, stunning orchids, and in-house chef-prepared sweet and savoury hors d’oeuvres.

Brighton residents were also treated to a live performance by regular entertainer Jan, while residents of Mayflower Reservoir received pampering gift packs.

And what Mother’s Day celebration is complete without a few bubbles or a nice hot cuppa to drink, to cap off the afternoon of fun!
