Current Fees

Depending on your financial situation, you may need to pay one or more of the following fees to cover the cost of your care at Mayflower.

The basic daily fee covers your day-to-day living costs, such as meals, power and laundry. The fee is set by the government and equates to 85% of the single aged pension. All residents are required to pay this fee.

Depending on your financial situation, you may be required to contribute to your care costs though a means-tested care fee. The Department of Human Services will determine whether we will ask you to pay this fee.

The accommodation fee covers your accommodation including the room that you live in. Again, the Department of Human Services will determine whether we will ask you to pay this fee.

Some homes also may ask you to pay additional fees for premium services. Mayflower Club provides a suite of additional services to enhance residents’ lives, by offering more choice, premium comforts and additional entertainment and lifestyle activities. Our team will be able to provide a list of the services and associated costs.

To learn more, you can download the Brighton Residential Aged Care Fees brochure, or find the rates listed on the My Aged Care website.
