Clinical Team Leader

Mayflower is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Team Leader to join our team in Reservoir.

The Clinical Team Leader plays an important leadership role within the care team, supporting clinical service delivery and ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.

This role is offered as a 6-month fixed-term maternity leave cover.

About the Role

The Clinical Team Leader provides leadership and guidance to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants within an allocated care area.

Working closely with the Care Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you will oversee resident assessments, care planning, clinical documentation and ensure compliance with aged care standards.

Key Responsibilitie

  • Lead and support a team of nurses and care staff
  • Monitor resident care plans, assessments and clinical documentation
  • Support resident admissions and discharges
  • Ensure medication management and clinical practices meet organisational standards
  • Respond to incidents, complaints and compliance matters
  • Support staff development and foster a positive team environment
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families and allied health professionals

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Minimum 3 years’ nursing experience, with experience in a similar role preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and legislation
  • Experience supporting clinical teams and coordinating care delivery
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage competing clinical demands

About the Role

As a Barista / Café Allrounder, you will be responsible for preparing a range of coffee beverages, supporting café operations, and maintaining a clean and welcoming service area. You will work closely with the Café Chef Manager and contribute to providing a positive experience for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare coffee beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, espressos and long blacks
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Take customer orders and process payments using POS systems
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised café environment
  • Monitor and restock café supplies and food items
  • Operate and maintain coffee machines and related equipment
  • Ensure food handling and safety standards are maintained at all times

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Experience working in a café or hospitality environment

About the Role

  • A positive, team-focused attitude

The Workforce Business Partner is responsible for building a stable and sustainable workforce pipeline across clinical, care and support roles.  This role partners with people leaders to proactively assess workforce demand and occupancy trends and translate workforce data into actionable insights that support operational performance. This role is ideal for a recruitment professional who wants to move beyond vacancy filling and play a key role in shaping sustainable workforce planning in aged care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across clinical, care and support roles

  • Develop sourcing strategies that improve candidate quality and reduce time-to-hire and strengthen talent pools and recruitment channels

  • Track and report on workforce metrics and provide insights that support executive decision making

This role will involve travel between our head office in Brighton and our other facilities in Reservoir and Pascoe Vale. Candidates can be based at any of these locations.

About you

You are a strategic recruiter or workforce specialist who understands the operational realities of workforce supply in complex service environments.

You will bring:

✔ 5+ years’ experience in recruitment or workforce planning
✔ Experience in aged care, healthcare or community services (highly regarded)
✔ Strong workforce analytics capability (Excel, dashboards, modelling)
✔ Experience managing visa sponsorship and international recruitment
✔ Ability to partner with operational leaders and influence workforce decisions
✔ Strong organisation, problem solving and decision-making skills
