Ready, Set, Go!

It was a lively day for all when residents came together for the Mayflower Reservoir Commonwealth Games.

Inspired by the official 2018 Commonwealth Games, held on the Gold Coast in April, the special event gave all residents a chance at winning gold.

Events for the day included basketball, bowling, and a mini marathon, with residents, families and staff dressing up in hats and flags to represent their country of origin. Tensions were high as residents gave it their all to win a coveted gold medal, but as the smiles shone through, it became clear that the friendship and camaraderie in our lovely community makes everyone a winner.
