Mayflower Macleod Development Updates
Project update – 2nd May 2025
Redevelopment of the seniors living precinct at Highview Crescent Macleod.
As we move forward with this important redevelopment, we are very conscious that any delay to the demolition of the site creates difficulties with security and site cleanliness for the local community. We take our community responsibilities seriously and are working as quickly and safely as possible to move the project forward.
Here are the latest updates:
* The demolition permit has been obtained, and our demolition contractor will be on site next week to commence preparations.
* Also next week, we are erecting signage advising of upcoming hazardous material removal.
*The tree protection process is progressing as planned and in accordance with approved permits.
* Demolition will begin as soon as Jemena, the power authority, is able to complete the final service disconnection. Unfortunately, we do not have a confirmed timeframe for this step, as we are reliant on Jemena.
